well, we didn't get the very cool corner apartment with the corner windows in each of its two bedrooms.  when we walked to our landlord's office at around 11 am of the first day it was open for viewing, we were greeted with the sad news that already six other people had been there that morning for the same apartment!  ugh.

but....but, there is two bedroom opening up on october 1st and we are first on the list if we want it.  we aren't as thrilled with this one for several reasons: its on the alley, the two bedrooms do not have corners full of windows, it does not come with a spot and the patio is not as large.  but even though its not as charming as the one we were looking at, it would be nice to be in a two bedroom with a patio so looks like we might be moving after all...that is, to the aparment right next to ours.  yep....big move.

on another note, i have to say that i love our church.  joel and i have been attending a home church for about three years now (give or take a few months).  we love it!  its so nice to be involved with a church where everyone is our friend, we feel completely accepted and we can be having shitty days but our friends still love us and sit by us.  today was especially great because we broke out into small groups and were able to pray for one another in a more intimate setting.  i have some crap i am dealing with right now and it was so so so nice to be able to honestly and openly discuss what is on my heart and then to have three people pray for me.
