apple one

joel had an interview with apple one today.  i'm not sure if you've noticed but the economy kinda sucks right now.  i believe alan greenspan summed it up nicely when he said this was a once in a century kind of deal.  excellent!  so, its not exactly the best time to be searching for a job...not when the market is flooded with phds and masters and grey-haired men with mortgages.  

joel has sent out sooo many applications and resumes and nothing is turning up for him.  so, he has resorted to temp work (which i personally think is better than living on the streets, but that's just me).  his interview with apple one went really well today and they already have a couple jobs that they think he would be great for.  since he came home from the interview he's been preparing his resume and is about to send it off to apple one to send to the jobs.  hopefully he'll be gainfully employed by next tuesday!  in the meantime we are storing up fat around our midsections for the possible no eating strike we'll be forced to engage in if this doesn't work out.
