churchill museum and war cabinet rooms

this was the coolest museum because its the actual location of where england's war cabinet met during WWII. this is where the decisions were made! and, the museum people have done an excellent job at keeping the place like it was 60 years ago.

this is where all the cabinet members would sit and talk about who they should bomb next. churchill sat in the middle chair in the back row (in front of the giant map of europe).



this is where the secretaries sat and typed. at one point they had nine of them in there. can you imagine all the perfume?churchill's bunker bedroom. his wife's room was several corridors away.
