so sorry for not posting lately. about two weeks ago the wireless that i was using disappeared so i had to get my own. ugh. i am not a fan of paying for internet. but, it became painfully obvious how addicted to it i am. i need it for everything!
although, i was fairly productive during that time because as soon as i got home all i could do was homework (and read...and boy did my reading go way up). but, alas, verizon solved my internet problems and i am now fully connected once again. my addiction is fed.
hopefully, i will be more active in posting now that i dont have an excuse. i'll give a brief run down on what i've been up to.
about every weekend joel and i do something related to the wedding...meeting with our friend doing our invitations, our friend making our cake, our friend designing our centerpieces, our friend helping us with the potluck...and, oh yes, pre-marital class. its all good stuff but it keeps us extremely busy.
i'm still looking for a job. i have now had 5 professionals/professors tell me that my resume is excellent and i shouldnt have any trouble finding a job. i hate them.
school is picking up and i have my first midterm next week. i'm not concerned.
i was recently hired as a research assistant for the dean of research. i'll be able to earn a little money this semester as i research animal rights.
i am currently deciding if i want to be an editor on the law review...this would mean more work but it sounds like a fulfilling activity and it would look excellent on my resume.
oh...how could i forget?! i have rachel's wedding next saturday! this sunday we are having a shower for her; next thursday is her rehearsal dinner; next friday we are decorating the place; and then saturday is the blessed day. after that, i get to watch her two kitties for a couple weeks while they are on their honeymoon! aahhh...can't wait.
well, i hope this is ok for now. happy valentine's day! joel bought me a david sedaris book. we had thai food and watched elizabeth. it was a great night!

I do believe that a David Sedaris book constitutes a present! Happy reading, he's hilarious!
