this week is rachel's. it started this past sunday with a beautiful shower that her sister, krista, and mom, kay, put on (and if i wasn't so lazy there would be pictures of this event on my blog). thursday we have the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner (we get pizza!), friday we get our nails done and decorate the place, saturday is the big day and the week culminates in a sunday brunch and present fest.
rachel and i have been best friends since third grade. i must admit...i didn't hit me until sunday how cool this is. that we've been friends for so many years and now we are sharing in one of the best times of our lives - finding the men of our dreams while our best friend stands at our side. this is very cool.
needless to say, i am super excited and wish today was thursday so that we could be in full throttle wedding mode (which i'm sure rachel is in but unfortunately i cant be in that mode until thursday).
yea weddings!
