Yes We Can

Today our country decided...and that decision was for progress, for an end to a racist chapter of history, for a future that embraces all colors and all types.

I have never been more proud to be an American
than I am today.  Our first African American President.  So many thought they would never see this day - especially because it was only 50 or so years ago that African Americans were allowed in the front of the bus - yet today we are able to celebrate a new chapter in our nation's history.  One where the color of our skin, our gender, nor the place of our birth matters.

Congratulations, President-Elect Obama.
