dan...i know i promised you photos and i promise that i took them on saturday.  then the camera battery died, and the sun was just a little too bright and my cat told me i had to pay attention to him and some shopping got in the way and lo and behold here i am sunday evening with no pictures on the blog.  but they're on my camera!!! and, hopefully, one day they will get here.
